From David Weiss: I reside just outside of NYC on the shore in CT. On the fateful morning of 9/11/01, I was in the midst of packing my bags to fly from LGA to Ohio when news broke of a plane striking one of the WTC towers. Witnessing the second explosion on TV and experiencing my phone going dead at that exact moment, I rushed down the road to the shoreline, where I had an unobstructed view over the water of the WTC towers. Through binoculars, I watched the first tower disintegrate up close, disconnected from the narrative of mainstream media. In the subsequent days, as news replays flooded the airwaves, discrepancies between what was being reported and what I had witnessed became glaringly apparent. It took approximately four years before I felt compelled to speak out publicly, as I grappled with the realization that 9/11 was a meticulously orchestrated deception perpetrated by mass media and government entities. My inquiries led me down a rabbit hole of deception, uncovering various other falsehoods, from the Federal Reserve banking fraud system to the clandestine spraying of our skies with chemicals and the fabrication of wars. Subsequently, events like the Sandy Hook shooting and the Boston Marathon bombing only served to reinforce my skepticism, as I discerned the inconsistencies within their media narratives. Driven by a desire to engage with these contentious topics and appeal to a broader audience, I launched the podcast "Deep Inside The Rabbit Hole." Infusing discussions of conspiracy with raw humor, we aimed to attract a younger demographic often overlooked by traditional conspiracy shows. In the podcast's third year, despite initially dismissing it as absurd, I found myself confronted with information about flat earth theory from persistent fans. Reluctantly, I delved into the subject with the intent of debunking it. However, a conversation with researcher Sofia Smallstorm challenged my preconceptions, leading me to reevaluate my stance. Ultimately, through rigorous research and a willingness to set aside ego, I underwent a transformation and emerged as a co-host of "The Flat Earth Podcast." My journey underscores the importance of critical thinking and the willingness to question accepted narratives, even when they challenge deeply ingrained beliefs. It is my hope that by sharing my experiences, I can inspire others to embark on their own journey of discovery, free from the constraints of indoctrination and dogma.
