Alexis Cossette-Trudel was born in Cuba from Canadian parents, in exile there after the 1970 political turmoil in Quebec. After returning to Canada, Alexis completed a M.A. in political science, focusing on foreign policy, strategic studies and information warfare. He went on to complete a Ph.D. in religious studies with a focus in philosophy of language and semiology (semiology is the science of signs and symbols - as does Robert Langdon who is a religious semiologist in the Da Vinci Code). Alexis has been involved in Canadian politics and has published over a dozen articles in Le Devoir, a Quebec newspaper. In 2018 he founded Radio-Quebec, a web based alternative media where he discussed, against the mainstream media narrative, the intricacies of Donald Trump's policies, and in 2020 the COVID crisis. The channel grew to over a quarter million subscribers becoming the #1 US policy analysis alternative media in the French world, putting forth several videos with over a million views before being swept by the wave of late 2020- early 2021 big tech censorship. Radio-Quebec has become a household name in Quebec after months of relentless attacks by the Mainstream media both in Canada and in France. He has since migrated to other platforms like Rumble, Parler and Telegram and continues his weekly analysis of world events.
