As you listen to this interview, there is much contained within which will butt up strongly against many of your long standing beliefs and perceptions. Due to this clash, you may be easily tempted to stop listening, as that which you have attempted to mentally digest borders on seeming beyond possible. This reaction is entirely expected. In the absence of such a reaction, genuine psychological elucidation is not being prompted. Tonight's special guest has gone to extraordinary lengths to try to have everything make perfect sense, if only on the basis of good old-fashioned common sense. When he looks at the world around him, he sees a very unhealthy place where the bulk of humanity is heading on a fast train towards very unhappy times. He doesn't have to be especially perceptive or smart to make this observation, but only be able to appreciate blatant and ugly trends gaining significant momentum in just a few decades of time. By trying to encourage people to consider a few things in a new light, he hopes we might begin moving away from the ominous shadow stealthily stalking our entire human race.
Former U.S. Army Combat Medic Assigned to the pediatric clinic at the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky where I functioned as the medic in charge of a pediatric treatment and minor procedures department at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. While there in May of 1986 the clinic treated over 5,000 pediatric patients which was an all-time U.S. military record. The U.S. Army officially recognized the medical staff of the clinic which resulted in a formal and permanent plaque of commendation being placed inside the clinic. While stationed at Ft. Campbell, I was assigned to an emergency mass-casualty forward-triage team, a position normally reserved for medical officers only, in recognition of my high level of physical fitness, military bearing, ability to stay composed under pressure and medical skills. Actively volunteered for experimental hazardous duty where I was subjected to being submerged in ice-water for extended periods of time in an attempt to design safer and more effective outer protective garments for military personnel serving in severe cold weather regions. Selected for Army Nursing School and upon graduation specialized in medical intensive care, neonatal intensive care and emergency cesarean delivery. Maintained regular ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification. Functioned as NCO in charge of department Pacific Theatre Mass Evacuation Strategy while stationed at the 121 Evac. Hospital in Yongsan, Seoul, Korea (originally designated 4077th MASH) in order to effectively maximize the safety of all U.S. Department of Defense civilian or military personnel as well as any associated family members living in South Korea during this time period. First former soldier to successfully graduate from pharmacy school while being sponsored through the Veterans` Vocational Rehabilitation Program. Practiced as a licensed pharmacist for 15 years specializing in all aspects of pharmaceutical compounding to include extensive background with intrathecal and IV chemotherapy preparation. Processed some 250,000 specific medication orders while maintaining a 0.00% error ratio. Pharmacist assigned to process, prepare and deliver any pharmaceuticals required by a Former First Lady of the United States while interned at a private hospital`s VIP intensive care unit. Regularly engaged in investigative drug studies. Administered, checked, processed, compounded, or otherwise delivered in excess of four billion dollars` worth of drugs and medical supplies in the complete absence of a single prescription, dispensing or administration error. Subsequently graduated magna-cum-laude from a business degree program; ranked first in class while completing program 9 months ahead of schedule. Authored 3 full length non-fiction books titled; `Pharmacist On the Edge`, `You`re In the Army Now` and the above `The Shape of Things to Come?` all formally unpublished.
